Clark Youth Football recently completed its first season of returning to the Clark - Garwood community and has been a great success. Last winter we established the first Clark Youth Football Team in New Jersey State and they proved to be the best of the best.
The timing of the cancellations was striking as Bergen Catholic and Delbarton were canceled just before kickoff and Williamstown and Ocean City were abandoned at halftime. The men are members of the Elizabeth Sport Club, which operates out of Farcher Grove in Union, New Jersey. The players of both clubs know each other and the team will host the first Clark Youth Football game in history on Saturday, April 22, at 7.30 pm in the Clark - Garwood Community Center.
Elizabeth SC remains one of the most successful youth football teams in the state of New Jersey. The talented, fit Jersey man scored twice to lift the US Open Cup for the first time in club history in a 2-1 victory over the New York Red Bulls II on Saturday, April 14, 2016.
Senior quarterback Andrew Sanborn led an efficient offensive that gave Union its first championship since 1993. The Vikings made it to the 1997 national final, but squandered a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter and lost 61-50 to Union at Boardwalk Hall. Stapleton's path took him for the first time after he emerged as a talented linebacker at Union High School. In 2009, the team won the New Jersey Division II State Football Championship and finished runner-up in the state championship game.
After his first year at Union High School, his parents decided to move to East Hanover, New Jersey. The former high school building became Burnet Junior High, and Stapleton and his family moved back to Union in 2009.
Farcher Grove is home to one of the most popular sports betting markets in the state of New Jersey. For the autumn season Clark Youth Football has three competition stages as well as a team camp in the area, where you can search for teams, camps and associations in its vicinity. On May 3, 2020, we will celebrate the 50th anniversary of our first two championships.

With the world closed due to the Covid '19 pandemic, JSZ set out to celebrate the first day of the dance and baseball tournament in New Jersey. Although it was not an official NJSIAA event, the last 200-team dance and baseball tournament provided a bright moment to finally take the field after the cancellation during the spring season. The Morristown Beard Girls Hockey made history with their first-ever national championship, and their team took a major step forward with a 3-1 victory over the Burlington County Crusaders.
